Now that you are born again
The day you were born again, you were born into a life of total and continuous victory. Jesus’ death on the cross made you one with Him and ushered you into the transcendent life of victory.
Some folks believe life is full of “ups and downs,” but that’s because they’re not acquainted with the vital realities of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
As a child of God, you’re called to live each day of your life in victory over every situation. That’s the lifestyle of the believer.
Your rights in Christ
Victory is your birthright, for God has raised you up, and made you to sit together with Christ in heavenly places Ephesians 2:6. You’re seated with Christ “…Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come” Ephesians 1:21
You’re seated far above the devil and the cohorts of darkness, and the negative influences of this world. This means you have been given every authority to stay in victory over Satan and his cohorts.
You’ve already overcome them! Therefore walk in the light of your victory; let it be your present-hour mentality that you can’t be defeated or disadvantaged.
How to stay in victory over Satan, the world, and life
Now is the time for you to walk in victory over sin, the devil, sickness, death and the circumstances of life. As far as God is concerned, nothing in this world could defeat you, for “greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” 1 John 4:4
This is your hour to reign—this is your time to manifest the victory that Christ wrought for you.
There’s no challenge big enough and no demon powerful enough to stop you from walking in victory! The only thing you need to do is walk in the light of that victory.
What does it mean to walk in the light of your victory? It means to live with the consciousness that you’re a victor in Christ Jesus. It means to have the winning mentality; the mindset of a victor.
The victory mentality
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ 1 Corinthians 15:5
Anything is possible! This should be your mentality. Never think defeat, failure or weakness. Cultivate the winning mentality; the mentality that believes and affirms, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” Philippians 4:13
That’s the victor’s mentality, and you develop it through the Word. This is important if you will stay in victory over satan.
It’s not too late
It doesn’t matter what your life has been like or the experiences you’ve had; one thing is certain: you’re a victor in Christ Jesus!
Irrespective of the affliction, tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, destitution, perils, wars, etc., that may be ravaging today’s world, you’re more than a conqueror: “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” Romans 8:37
The word of God
Trust the Lord and hold on to His Word. When you go through challenges, don’t complain!
The Lord knew there’d be challenges, but He gave us the assurance that we’ll be triumphant always: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place” 2 Corinthians 2:14
The consciousness you need
Your victory is a settled fact. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory”; this is a present-hour truth.
Nothing is, and can ever be to your disadvantage.
Romans 8:28 declares, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Have this consciousness!
Confession
I’m triumphant forever because I’m born of God; greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. My life is for the glory of God. I win every day; that’s my heritage in the Lord! I’m strong in Him, and in the power of His might to do exploits! Blessed be God!
