What You Need
“Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” Acts 20:32 NIV
The Word
At a construction site, you’re likely to find materials like mortar, steel, wood, glass, and sand.
But in building our faith as Christians, the Word of God is the only material given to us by God to do so (Romans 10:17).
This means the more of God’s Word you receive into your spirit, meditate on, and put to work, the greater your faith.
Many ask, “What faith can move?” “What faith can do?” “Why faith is important?” “Why faith matters?”
But the truth is that just as builders lay block upon block and hold them firm with cement, that’s the same way you build your faith and hold it firm with the Word of God in your spirit.
How The Word Works
As you continually give yourself to studying and meditating on God’s Word, faith is stirred in your heart and you discover that absolutely anything is possible to you!
Check this book for deeper insight into faith topics like “Why faith, hope, and love?” “Are faith and reason compatible?” “When faith fails?” “Are faith and trust the same?” “When faith steps in?” “When faith moves mountains” “Why faith alone is wrong?” “When faith is tested?”
The Word of God has the inherent ability to produce all that it says. So, as you listen to the Word and fill your heart with it, faith will rise in you like a giant.
What Does God Want?
This is the reason God seeks to impart His Word to your spirit. It’s the only material you require to build and bolster your faith in order to live a successful life.
So today, just like Paul did with the saints at Ephesus, I commend you to God and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up.
Secondly, it will give you an inheritance among the sanctified[an inheritance which belongs to you as God’s people].
Prayer
I rule, reign and dominate my world by the faith of God in my spirit! My faith is alive and produces results today because the Word of God is in my heart and in my mouth.
So, as I speak it forth, circumstances align with God’s perfect will for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
