The responsibility of leadership has been thrust upon you.
“And don’t let anyone put you down because you’re young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 MSG
Secret #1 – You are called to lead, win and reign
Many Christians are acquainted with the story of Joseph, who was a slave in the house of Potiphar, yet the Bible says he was a prosperous and effective man.
He exhibited leadership qualities that distinguished him from all the other slaves and soon enough, he was put in charge of Potiphar’s whole estate.
Your greatness isn’t in the definition of your assignment but in the quality of your spirit and the excellence of your character.
Secret #2 – Your Christian character
Let your character speak for itself.
As a Christian, you’re a steward of the message of Christ. You’re the one He’s authorized to carry forth His message to the people and teach them the same. This means that the responsibility of leadership has been thrust upon you. You’ve been called to lead and the capacity to lead is resident in your spirit. You have the life, nature, and character of God in you to do all things.
Let people see your mark as a child of God
Wherever you go, let people see your mark as a child of God. You’ve been sent to lead, therefore be that worthy example!
Teach those in your home, school, and neighborhood how to live and do things right through your words, character, love, faith, and integrity. Let your life reflect what you say to others. Matthew 28:19
Secret #3 – You have the life and nature of God
Romans 5:21 says “So that as sin reigned in death, even so, grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
As a Christian, you have the life and nature of God, and this nature makes you think, talk, and act like Him; it causes you to reign in life as a king.
Through the Word of God, you’re trained to reign, to see and think differently!
Secret #4 – The word of God teaches you ‘how’
2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” The Word of God is God’s instruction manual for training you in the life of righteousness and equipping you for greatness.
The Word of God teaches you how to be a success in life.
With this training, it makes no difference what your background is; you’ll be exceptional because you function with the anointing and grace to reign.
Romans 5:17 says those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life.
Secret #5 – Be different because you are different
Refuse sickness, failure, defeat, and death.
Reign in life as a king. Reject everything that’s not of God, and endorse only that which is consistent with His perfect will for you.
Talk differently; see differently.
You’ve been graced to reign through righteousness.
