Remember Your Creator in The Days of Your Youth

  • by

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them” before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain” Ecclesiastes 12:1-2 NIV

Peak Power

Your Youth is the time of your peak powers. Commit it to serve the Lord!

You have the energy and vigor to go the extra mile. That’s why this is the best time to dedicate yourself to the Lord’s service!

As a young person, there are things that would clamor for your attention—the quest for success, fame, and money etc—and if you’re not careful, their glitz and glamour can hire you.

But always remember God gave His very best for you in the person of His Son Jesus. And now you’ve come into His Kingdom, you ought to give Him the very best of your time, talent, energy, and resources.

The scriptures admonish that you serve the Lord in “the days of your youth”, when you’re still young and full of energy! (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

Get Serious

So get serious with the things of God today. Do not be enticed by the world’s concept and symbols of success and wealth. Recognize that true success and riches are in God.  Serve Him in the prime of your life.

Remember, He deserves the best because He gave you His best.

Prayer

Dear Father, I’m determined more than ever to live all my years for you and give you the very best. I pledge today to serve you with wholehearted devotion and apply myself to doing only those things that are consistent with your will and purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
